Working Together

It’s pretty simple.

For starters, you tell me about yourself and your book idea, who your audience is, what content you already have and what still needs to be developed. We talk about what the book might look like, and get better acquainted with each other. If it feels right to both of us I generate a proposal, including a basic outline, time line, and fee. Once we’ve agreed on the terms we sign a simple written agreement and we’re off.

The first stage is a brain dump (for you) and an immersion (for me) in your life, your business, your organization, your mission and message. This will likely lead to more in-depth conversations between us, and possibly to additional interviews with other people as well as focused research on particular topics.

Then I write the book, with periodic review and input from you to make sure I’m capturing your message and your voice.

At the end we have a final review, make final revisions, and call it a wrap.

If you’re ready to get started, let’s talk.
